She was a famous female serial killer. Just as the pervious cases: Ted Bundy and Jeffery Dahmer. However, their motives were different. They killed for control, her crimes were shaped by lifetime of abuse, trauma and survival driven aggression. Her style was different, it had emotion and highly reactive. Unlike the others with manipulative or ritualistic.

She murdered seven men in Florida between 1989-1990. She was a sex worker who claimed she killed them in self defense after they tried to assault her.
She had a lot of disorders anti-social personality disorder, trauma-induced PTSD, and a heavy rage towards men. The complexity of her being a victim of extreme abuse yet committing crimes. This begs the question was she cold blooded murder or a trauma victim who lashed out?

Aileen Wuornos had a horrible traumatic childhood induced by abuse, abandonment etc. Her mother left her at four years old, left to her abusive grandparents. Her grandfather sexually abused, worked in sex work by 11 years old.
Trail
She was sentenced to death for the murder and executed by lethal injection in 2002.
